FLOURISH

2014. Live performance. Glasgow City Centre, UK. 

Like a  winning racing car driver, I created a fountain of fizz. As cock sure as the phallic public monument in Glasgows City Centre, I stood proud with glittery streamers emanating from my mouth. This was an opportunity to reinvigorate this disused, leaning local landmark and to question my place in civic space.

Materials: Hand painted costume, body paint, glitter streamer, prosecco.
