Nesting/ Nythu

Performance duration: 3 hours

Ashill built her own nest from materials found on the duck egg island in the rural mill. For three hours the artist sat on, warmed and protected her 108 eggs from strangers and visitors to her habitat.

This work was commissioned for Rhôd, an artist run project and to instigate urban and rural dialogue.
