Crisis Anwes 2023

Crisis Anwes was created as part of the Future Wales Fellowship 22/23. I visited my non-human neighbours on Barry Island to ask them what they are doing for climate crisis.  This performance work is presented in both English and Welsh as a way of testing an interspecies relationship to spoken language. This work was directly influenced by my research for my practice based PhD and forms part of the conclusion.

My practice based PhD is supervised at The University of Manchester and part of the Multispecies Project from the Centre for the History of Science, Medicene and Technology. Funded by the Wellcome Trust. Crisis Anwes was funded by ACW and Natural Resource Wales as part of the Future Wales Fellowship 2022/23
