What does climate crisis mean for a young family? How do we include our children, people with disabilities and the most vulnerable in our society in discussion about the reality of environmental crisis? Offshoots attempts to provide acknowledgment that we are and will be moving and growing through these times together. Teulu Von Flap’s film uses the potato as a sign of hope, agency and persistence, using DIY potato batteries as a way to generate discussion and thoughts about connection and community: potenial sources of energy.
Teulu Von Flap is a family group project by artists Kathryn Ashill, James Ó hAodha and their children Teifion and Taran. The group work together to explore their experiences of disability and community life.
